Homicide or Suicide – Body Found Hanging on Killeen Tree

Various sources are reporting that a body has been found hanging from a tree in Killeen near the 4500 block of Creekside Drive.

A local resident discovered the body while taking a walk along Nolan Creek and called the police. Authorities say that little to no information is available at this time, including the age or sex of the deceased, or whether this hanging was the result of a murder or suicide.

The body is presently being recovered by work crews, and will be shipped to Dallas for a full autopsy. We will have more information as it becomes available.
