A GoFundMe page created three days ago was has garnered a lot of attention as Milton's family and friends try to accrue $84,000 for the estimated cost of medical care and living expenses. Milton underwent emergency surgery after the football game and has been in a coma since.

They are currently sitting a little under  $7,000 from their goal after Houston Texans' linebacker J.J. Watt donated $10,000 to the cause early this morning. His message attached to the donation read:

If there's anything that I can do to help, please let me know. Sending my best wishes to Grant and the entire Milton family.

The Milton family updated their GoFundMe page, letting people know of Grant's condition as of Wednesday morning.

Grant is still in critical condition and in a coma. His recent CT scan continues to improve. His medications have been reduced today and he showed positive signs of movement and strength in his upper body. His vital signs are strong and anyone who knows Grant would say he i.s STRONG and SPIRITED. The doctors indicate he is trending in the right direction and that his youthfulness and strength are on his side.

Please take a moment of prayer and thought for Grant and his family today.
