This Saturday, July 28, enjoy a night of standup comedy and dueling pianos to benefit the Chris Kyle American Valor Foundation at the Pit Stop in Nolanville.

I had the opportunity to attend this event for the first time last year, and it was equal parts hilarious and deeply touching.

The Pit Stop is a veteran owned bar and grill that specializes in events that benefit veteran causes. As owner James Kincaid mentions in the live interview above, the event features raunchy humor from veterans for veterans, but also strives to show respect to both the men and women who've served and are serving and the American military tradition.

If you've never been to a Humor for Heroes event, make this the year you go! Chris Kyle's family will be in attendance to represent the American Valor Foundation, a nonprofit corporation committed to supporting our military veterans, first responders, and their families through programs of fund raising efforts and direct support to individuals.
