Kevin Richardson Plays Soccer with Wild Lions

The Summer of Soccer is upon us. Not only is the World Cup happening in Brazil in June, but the best soccer talent in the state of Texas will be playing in Belton on June 14th.

To celebrate the game, known as soccer, or football, Van Gils commissioned a short film from South African Zookeeper Kevin Richardson. Mr. Richardson is a Lion Whisperer. He feeds them, hugs them, and even sleeps along side them, but now he plays football with them. Seems safe, because running and getting tripped by a wild animal is always a good time, if not the last time.
