According to the Killeen Daily Herald, Segarra won his second term in office with a landslide win. City Council member Gregory Johnson won a second term with the most votes among 12 "at-large" candidates, and Jose Rivera will serve a fourth non-consecutive term on the Council.

Former Killeen school district board member Hugh “Butch” Menking will be the lone new member to join the City Council after securing the second most votes among "at-large" council candidates.

Two proposed amendments to the Killeen City Charter were also on the ballot.  Proposition A, which would have given Killeen City Manager Ron Olson final authority over interdepartmental financial transfers, was defeated, while Proposition B, which will allow capital improvements projects to be budgeted over multiple fiscal years, passed.

Also on the ballot, according to KWTX News 10: voters approved a $400 million bond issue which will allow the district to build new a new high school, elementary school, make upgrades and renovations to 11 campuses, and improve security.
