Killeen Educator Loses Life in Weekend Accident

KWTX's Alex Cano reported that a tragic accident over the weekend, has taken the life of a first year middle school teacher in Killeen.

The teacher that was tragically killed was a first-year 7th grade teacher at Smith Middle School in Killeen. Killeen Independent School District spokesmen Terry Abbott said, "Vanessa Harrison, a first-year 7th grade teacher at Smith Middle School, died of injuries she suffered in the accident."

Abbott also added, “We are deeply saddened by her death and our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this very difficult time.”
