Killeen Man Arrested for Tampering with Homicide Evidence
Killeen police have arrested a man who had been wanted for tampering with evidence in a homicide case.
27-year-old Keyante Larmont Kelly was arrested Monday at an apartment complex on East Rancier.
Police say Kelly was at the scene of a fatal shooting on East Rancier on July 17. He allegedly drove one of the victims away from the scene before leaving the man's dead body in a car on North 18th Street.
Kelly has been charged with Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence – a third-degree felony.
He is currently in the Bell County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bond.
