Killeen Man Charged in Sex Assault

27-year-old Chad Lee Cook of Killeen has been arrested after allegedly drugging a man and sexually assaulting him.

Police charged Cook after DNA testing linked him to evidence taken from the victim’s body. The victim alleges that he visited Cook’s home on April 12 to do welding work. Cook, he claims, offered him a glass of water, after which the man claims he felt the effects of a drug and lost consciousness. According to an arrest affidavit, the man regained consciousness to find Cook performing oral sex on him.

Cook was arraigned Friday and his bail has been set at $100,000.
