Killeen Man Confesses to Horrific Abuse of 2-Year-Old Daughter

You hesitate to even call someone like this a man, but a Killeen man has reportedly admitted to police that he purposefully inflicted serious injuries upon his 2-year-old daughter in a fit of rage.

KXXV reports that Akeen Denoise Dye, 26, recently confessed to dropping the girl, kicking her in the head, then squeezing her so hard that he broke her ribs. Medical records obtained by KXXV indicate that the child's injuries included brain hemorrhaging.

According to an online jail roster, Dye was booked into the Bell County Jail at 3:20 PM on Thursday, October 26 on a first degree felony charge of injury to a child. His bond was set at $100,000. He remained in the Bell County Jail at he time of this article's publication.
