Killeen police are searching for a man wanted in connection to the death of a 21-month-old baby in Killeen.

Brandon Anthony Warren is a 21-year-old black man, 5'11" tall, and weighing around 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

On July 6, officers responded to a report of an infant not breathing at an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Wells Circle. The baby was taken to McLane Children's Hospital in Temple, where efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. He was later pronounced dead.

After an investigation by the Killeen Police Department's Youth Services Section and an autopsy at the Southwest Institute of Forensic Science, the Bell County District Attorney’s Office issued a complaint charging Warren with Injury to a Child in relation to the infant’s death.

Investigators believe Warren will try to flee the Killeen area. Anyone with information is urged to call the Killeen Police Department at (254) 501-8830 or Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-8477. Information may also be submitted online at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com or by text along with the word BELLCO to 274637.

Information submitted to Crime Stoppers is anonymous and confidential, and a tip leading to Warren's arrest could net a $1000 cash reward.
