Killeen Needs Volunteers for Make A Difference Day

The National Day of Doing Good is almost here, Saturday October 26 is Make a Difference Day.   Each year, thousands of local folks join millions of volunteers across the country doing good things for friends, neighbors and strangers too.

Killeen Volunteers, Inc. needs individuals and groups for projects throughout the community.  Get your club, your family, your co-workers and friends to help.

Nearly 3,000 people have registered to work on community service projects in Killeen and Fort Hood, but additional volunteers are needed to complete more than 100 projects. Volunteers may adopt a project or participate in one.

Project proposals will be accepted through Friday, October 10.
