If you live in Killeen take another look at your water bill. Killeen Police may have sent you a survey. KPD spokeswoman Carroll Smith says some 40,000 surveys have been attached to the most recent round of water bills. This idea came about after the KPD hosted a community forum a couple weeks ago, and during the meeting a request was made for the public to be able to conduct an "Ask Us Anything" style of questioning without having to do so publicly.

The survey provides a chance to ask from afar by filling out the paperwork included in the water bills. Police are asking for feedback on how they can serve residents better, and it also asks for descriptions of concerns having to do with safety and security.

Killeen police send out these kinds of surveys every three years or so. Another survey along the same lines is posted under "Citizen Survey" on the KPD website.
