Killeen Police are investigating a stabbing that happened in the Killeen IHOP parking lot early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the scene at 700 W CTE shortly after 3 am.  There they found a woman who had been stabbed several times. She was taken to Darnall Army Medical Center where she died shortly afterward.  The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Kirsten Nicole Farr of Killeen.

 

According to a KPD press release, witnesses said Farr was riding as a passenger in a gold Cadillac in the restaurant's parking lot when she was approached by her 31-year-old ex-boyfriend.  The two argued and starting fighting before the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times and then took off.   Officers searched the area but could not find him.

The suspect has been identified as Thomas Jeremy Jones of Killeen. Jones was  arrested at a residence in Nolanville last Sunday morning without incident.He has been charged with murder and is currently in the Killeen City Jail awaiting arraignment on Monday, February 24.
