UPDATE: Police have identified the victim as 27-year-old Curtis E. Shelley of Killeen.

Police have yet to reveal details about a possible suspect, but KPD spokesperson Ofelia Miramontez said Monday that "detectives were able to identify the parties involved and the investigation is ongoing." She said the case has been sent to the Bell County District Attorney's Office for review.


 

Killeen police are investigating after a fight spilled into the street Sunday, resulting in one man being shot.

Tianna Jnkins with KWTX reports that police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Cedar Drive shortly after 2PM. When they arrived, they found a 27-year-old victim with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Carl R. Darnell Army Medical Center in critical condition.

Police said they had a suspect in custody, but did not release a name.
