Killeen Police Searching for Shooting Suspect Tied to Gang Activity
The Bell County District Attorney’s Office has issued a felony arrest warrant for a man suspected of participating in gang activity, including shooting at an occupied vehicle.
Police say Derrick Ronell Thomas Jr. is armed and dangerous, and citizens should not attempt to apprehend him. He’s described as a black male, 5’10” tall, and weighing approximately 165 pounds. Other known aliases include Derrick Nelson and Derrick Thomas-Nelson.

Callers may remain anonymous, and all information is confidential. Information leading to an arrest could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
Police say the Federal Bureau of Investigation is currently assisting in the investigation of the crime for which Thomas Jr. is wanted, as well as other recent violent activity in Killeen.
