Killeen Police Seeking Identity Theft Suspect

The Killeen Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a criminal operating under a false identity. According a press release, the unidentified woman has assumed the name of Teresa Ann Mercado.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about her to contact Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477) or online at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com. Information can also be texted along with the word BELLCO to 274637.

All tips are confidential, and any tip leading to an arrest may net a reward of $1000 in cash.
