Killeen Senior Center Debuts Pottery Class

The Killeen Senior Center at Lions Club Park has teamed up with potter Larry Matthews to offer weekly adult pottery classes.

The classes, which begin today, are scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon and from noon to 2 p.m.

Matthews specializes in stoneware pottery, but has experience in fields such as music education and school counseling. He also offers a kids day at the Cultural Activities Center in Temple on Mondays.
