Killeen Shooting Sends Woman to Hospital

KWTX's Sam DeLeon and Alex Cano reported that Killeen authorities are investigating a shooting that took place Thursday morning.

The authorities said the woman had been shot in the chest at the scene, but was alert and talking when Killeen Police officers got to the scene.

The woman wounded at the scene told authorities she was shot at the 800 block of Sissom Road.

Killeen authorities closed off streets in the vicinity of the crime scene, and the authorities are hard at work at getting more information about this shooting.
