Killeen Traffic Alert: Weiss Drive Closure Coming Friday

The city of Killeen is announcing the closure of Weiss Drive at Trimmier Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. There will be no access to Weiss Drive and all traffic must use alternate routes.

This closure is a result of road work related to the Trimmier Road Widening project. The aim is to create a continuous center turn lane from Jasper Drive to Elms Road and to improve sidewalks and intersections.

Be careful while driving in this area and plan alternate routes if possible. The City of Killeen appreciates everyone's cooperation as the city improves the roadway.
