Local Pool Hall Damaged in Early Morning Flames

Investigators with the State Fire Marshal's Office are working to determine the cause of a fire that gutted a Killeen pool hall early Thursday morning.

Fire crews responded to Stix Pool and Games, 3301 East Rancier Ave., shortly after 5:45 AM. Smoke and flames were issuing from the roof the structure when crews arrived, and the inside was a total loss.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Neighboring businesses suffered minor smoke damage.

Fire marshals were using specially trained dogs to search for clues that could help determine the cause of the blaze.
