A man who led Bell County sheriff deputies on a daylong search in Moffat was arrested Wednesday night.

Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance and possible attempted suicide at a home near Moffat around 8:00 AM Wednesday. When they arrived, residents told them that a man involved in the disturbance had fled into the woods. Deputies searched for hours before apprehending 31-year-old Christopher Lee Lowe.

He was charged with evading arrest. As of Wednesday evening, he was being held in the Bell County Jail without bond. An investigation into the initial disturbance is still underway.
