Man Hospitalized in Harker Heights Shooting

Harker Heights police are investigating a Thursday morning shooting which left one man injured.

Police responded to a call reporting that man had been shot at a home on Juanita Drive around 9:00 in the morning.

The man was shot once in the upper torso and taken by ambulance to Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Information about his condition was not immediately available.

Officers interviewed several witnesses and are looking for an unspecified number of suspects seen leaving the area in a blue SUV. A weapon has not been recovered.
