Killeen police arrested a man last week after he fled on foot.

An officer was sent to Elkins Place around 1 p.m. on July 30 in reference to an assault. She observed Raoul Tiju Brandon, Jr. walking along the street. When another officer asked his name, he claimed it was 'Devin Clark.'

Brandon admitted through an investigation that he lied about his name because he was afraid to give it to the officers. His identity was confirmed by a tattoo and a records system.

Brandon fled on foot when officers were going to arrest him for failure to identify. He was advised to stop.

Brandon was arraigned on charges of failure to identify and evading arrest, with bail set at $5,000 for each charge.
