Dr. James Andrew Barron has provided orthodontic care to central Texans since 1991, creating thousands of beautiful, healthy smiles for the people in his community. He feels extremely privileged to have been given the opportunity to impact the world through the patients he serves. Dr. Barron’s own orthodontic experience heavily influenced his decision to enter this field, and he hopes to give the positive reinforcement and encouragement he received to each patient he meets. To Dr. Barron, orthodontics is a profession which allows him to have an awesome relationship with his patients and to be able to serve them in a loving manner.

A native of Lubbock, Texas, Dr. Barron graduated from Lubbock Monterey High School before attending Texas Tech University for his undergraduate education. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry, then certificate in pediatric dentistry as well as a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. His specialty training in orthodontics was completed at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch.
