Million Dollar Bond Set for Elderly Killeen Shooting Suspect
We now know the identity of two elderly men involved in a shooting that left one of them dead Tuesday afternoon in Killeen.
As reported by our news partner, KWTX, 84-year-old Santiago Vasquez fatally shot 80-year-old John Wesley Seth Jr. shortly before 3:10 PM Tuesday in the 600 block of Bream Circle.
Vasquez and Seth reportedly got into a physical fight, during which Vasquez knocked Seth to the ground with his cane. When Seth stood back up, Vasquez allegedly shot him three times.
Seth's body was discovered on nearby Fishpond Lane, and he pronounced dead at the scene at 4:30 PM. Vasquez has been charged with murder, and his bond was set at $1 million.
