KCENTV has shared a video of the new rescue vessel at Morgan's Point Resort.

A U.S. Coast Guard Defender class vessel that has been purchased by the Morgan's Point Resort rescue team and geared up for water rescue. It's got radar, sonar, and comes with imaging technology that lets the crew see into the lake and under the water even in the worst weather conditions.

It's great to see the new equipment arrive for the Morgan's Point rescue team as they are often called upon to assist in a wide-range of situations across Bell County. The dive team goes out on tons of calls every summer on Lake Belton and the new watercraft makes it easier to respond quickly.

A large pump on the back of the boat allows the rescue team to also assist in putting out fires on land or on the water. See more photos of the new boat on the Morgan's Point Resort Fire Department's Facebook page.
