Four Dead, Including Shooter, in Fort Hood Shooting

Update 9:50: Lt. General Mark Milley has confirmed 16 are injured and in treatment at Darnall Army Medical Center and Scott & White Memorial Hospital, 3 are dead. The shooter, whose identity has not been confirmed, deceased by a self-inflicted gunshot wound after being engaged by military police. There is no indication of a connection to terrorism in this incident, but an investigation is ongoing by ATF, FBI, Texas Rangers, Texas State Police, Killeen and Harker Heights Police, and military police organizations.

Temple Volunteers Make 24,000 Meals in 3 Hours

With the help of local volunteers, Kids Against Hunger packaged 24,624 meals for school children in Haiti last Saturday.

Volunteers put on hairnets and aprons and got to work packing meals of rice, soy, a dehydrated blend of six vegetables and a mineral powder that provides 21 essential vitamins and nutrients.
