Pedestrian Fatally Injured at Belton Intersection
A 60-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday morning while trying to cross a busy street in Belton.
Dacota Taylor with our news partner, KWTX, reports that the man was trying to cross 13th Street at 13th and Beal when the collision occurred shortly after 7 AM.
Taylor reports that westbound traffic stopped to allow the man to cross, but a driver traveling east did not.
Paul Romer with the City of Belton told the Temple Daily Telegram the man was pronounced dead at Temple's Baylor Scott & White Medical Center.
