ABC is set to reveal its list of [pseudo-]celebrities for the next go-round of the game show Dancing With The Stars, but Entertainment Tonight scooped the alphabet network by revealing the names of some of the contestants involved.

Notable on the list for Texans is former governor Rick Perry. Yes, that Rick Perry. Dancing. Who knew? For the sake of Texas's honor, let's hope he remembers his Texas two-step better than he remembers his talking points in the debate.

Here's Perry doing a dance with Rabbis about 5 years ago in case you're looking for a taste of his dance moves.

He's not the first Texas politician to compete on the show. Former Congressman and Majority Leader Tom Delay (R) was a contestant in 2009 until his doctors urged him to withdraw from the show. His attempt at the tango is an indelible image for Republicans and Texans alike.

Perry joins such other notables as Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick (the always-luscious Marcia....le rawr), the even tastier country singer-actress Jana Kramer, Taxi's ginger leading lady Marilu Henner (Danny DeVito's fantasy), early 90's pop music embarrassment Vanilla Ice (a lot of us inexplicably bought that record, but I wasn't one of them) and, most notably, the controversial Olympian Ryan Lochte.

DWTS returns to ABC and your TV screen 7:00 PM Monday, September 12. Set your DVR now.
