It's no secret the Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays don't really get along. Proof? Twitter.

Last fall the Jays sent the Rangers home early and moved on to the ALCS after a 3-run blast by Jose Bautista. Fast forward to yesterday, and it was Bautista and the Jays on the receiving end of a knock out blow!

Wow! Odor's punch was thrown after a number of things happened in Sunday's game to escalate tensions between the clubs. Bautista was hit by a pitch from Texas hurler Matt Bush. A few plays later, Bautista tired to take out Rangers 2nd Baseman Rougned Odor with a late slide. That's when tensions reach their boiling point, and both benches cleared. Here's a look at the play...

Today there is a long list of ejections and pending suspensions to look over including:

  • Toronto: first base coach Tim Leiper, manager John Gibbons, pitcher Jesse Chavez, right fielder Bautista, third baseman Josh donaldson, bench coach DeMarlo Hale
  • Texas: second baseman Odor, bench coach Steve Buechele

Thankfully, that's it for the two ball clubs. They do not face each other again during the 2016 regular season.
