KWTX's John Carroll reported that an abandoned home was up in flames in the Central Texas area on Wednesday morning.

The abandoned house was in the rural area of Falls County, and a huge cloud of black smoke was produced from the flames that could be seen for miles.

The fire was burning just south of Marlin, and was right off of County Road 2865. Deputies of Fall County arrived right around 11:45 a.m., but there were no firefighters present at the scene when they arrived.

A witness present at the scene said that the abandoned house had collapsed partially, and was definitely not inhabitable.
