Russian Passengers Get Out and Push Frozen Plane Stuck on the Runway in Siberia

If you were waiting for your flight to take off and the pilot announced that you were grounded due to frozen landing gear, would you roll your eyes or roll up your sleeves?

Some UTair passengers in fear of being stranded in Igarka, Siberia last week decided to do the latter, braving high winds in temperatures as low as -58ºF to help get their plane moving after oil in the landing gear iced up, preventing the craft from moving into takeoff position. According to UTair officials, the plane was able to depart thanks to the efforts of the restless passengers, and touched down safely a few hours later in Krasnoyarsk.
