Texas can't help but outdo everyone else, and Christmas is no exception. If the United States was a neighborhood, Santa's Wonderland in College Station would make Texas the house you can see from miles away when it comes time for holiday decorating.

I recently passed the place while taking a road trip to visit family, and I had to do a double take. When I got home, I looked it up on Facebook and found these stats:

  • Over 3 million lights
  • Over 10,000 square feet of shopping
  • A 35-foot tall slide
  • Round-the-clock, 50-man hayrides

There's even a winery and a full-size Christmas village designed to resembled an old Texas ghost town, only festive and warm. Oh, and hot cocoa for the kids.

If you're nuts about Christmas or want to make awesome memories with your family, Santa's Wonderland is definitely worth the drive.
