The Associated Press reported that searchers in Bosque County made an alarming discovery on Wednesday morning.

The searchers were looking for the body of an unidentified swimmer that went missing on Tuesday. The unidentified swimmer went missing underwater, and that occurred around 6:30 with friends. The swimmer went missing in the vicinity of Soldiers Bluff Park on the south end of Lake Whitney.

Searchers found the body Wednesday morning around 40 feet away from the water. The body recovery was around 8:55 a.m. on Wednesday morning. There were no further details available about the identity of the body at the present time.
