A Temple doughnut shop was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning - just a week after being burglarized.

 

Police responded to a robbery report at Shipley Do-Nuts, 115 N. 31st St, shortly before 4:30 a.m. Witnesses told officers a black male entered the business through a rear door, pointed a gun at the owner's head, and demanded money. After receiving cash, the suspect fled northwest on foot.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect used a black bandana to cover the lower portion of his face and was last seen wearing a dark sleeveless hooded shirt with a dark short sleeve shirt underneath, dark cargo shorts, and dark-colored shoes and socks.

Information can also be submitted via text message along with the word BELLCO to 274637 or by visiting the Bell County Crime Stoppers website. All information is anonymous and confidential, and a tip leading to an arrest may be eligable for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
