Silvestre Franco-Luviano, an alleged suspect in two shootings in the Dallas area, as well as a Monday morning robbery and kidnapping, was apprehended in Georgetown according to United States Marshals as reported on Austin ABC affiliate KVUE TV.  The staff at the station was the first news outlet to confirm the apprehending of Franco-Luviano.


Earlier today, multiple news sources reported Franco-Luviano was allegedly spotted in an apartment complex near Georgetown High School.  The marshals told KVUE, the suspect resisted when confronted and a skirmish ensued before he was subdued.

Franco -Luviano's crime spree included the murder of a husband/father in front of his wife followed by a carjacking. He's also the prime suspect for the murder of a 33-year-old man and has been spotted firing shots into people's cars.

Reporting live from Georgetown, CBS Austin reporter Adam Hammons told the TV audience he heard shots fired.
