The names and social security numbers of several Central Texas teachers were placed online by mistake thanks to an application used by the Texas Association of School Boards.

According to our news parnter, KWTX, TASB officials said the incident happened in June, but teachers with Killeen ISD, Temple ISD, Midway ISD and others weren't told about the mistake until last week.

The Texas Association of School Boards says information including names and social security numbers became visible online. The data was part of the information school districts send pertaining to unemployment.

TASB says anyone whose information was shown online will receive a one-year membership for an identity and credit monitoring service. Additional questions can be answered at 1-866-779-0497.

So far, the Texas Association of School Boards says they have received no reports of misuse of the data.
