Tax Free Weekend For Back To School Shopping is Up Ahead

It's almost Back-To-School time in Central Texas, and that means the annual Tax Free weekend is coming soon! It happens August 5th through 7th, 2016. School supplies will be tax free along with items like shoes and backpacks. As long as the school related items are under $100 each, they will be included in the tax exemption. Savings end up along the lines of $10 saved for every $100 you spend. We all know how fast back-to-school shopping can add up, so why not plan to do your shopping during this tax free window.

Back-to-school shopping isn't just paper and pens or lunch boxes, it also means it's time to shop for back to school clothes. Rain coats, jackets, coats, and the like are all part of the upcoming savings.
