Temple Airport Cleared After Suspicious Package Found

TEMPLE - Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport was evacuated after a suspicious item was found on Tuesday afternoon.

An Explosive Ordinance Disposal team from Ft. Hood cleared the item Tuesday night after it was examined and determined it was non-hazardous. The item was believed to be equipment that was left behind by a sub-contractor.
