The City of Temple Christmas Parade returns to downtown Monday, December 5th!

Over 100 entries will participate, including floats, marching bands, and decorated cars, all covered in hundreds of lights. Keep an eye out for Santa, too.

It all starts at 6:15 when Mayor Danny Dunn lights the City’s Christmas tree at City Hall, 2 North Main Street. The parade will immediately follow, making its way along Adams Avenue from West 8th Street to 23rd Street, where it will turn right and disband at Temple High School.

Spectators should arrive early for a good parking spot and place to watch the parade, which is expected to last about 90 minutes.

Be advised: 6th and 8th Streets will close at 4 PM, and no traffic will be allowed down Adams Avenue from 5:45 PM until the end of the parade.
