Temple Police Investigating Violent Home Robbery

Temple police are searching for a man who broke into a house, robbed a man, then hit him with a gun Monday.

Police say the robbery occurred at a home in the 600 block of South 13th St. around 3:20 PM. The suspect reportedly broke into the home, then drew a silver handgun and robbed the victim at gunpoint. The suspect then struck the victim in the face with the gun before fleeing on foot.

The suspect was described as a black male wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans, and what appeared to be a rubber or neoprene mask. Anyone with information about this crime is urged to contact the Temple Police Department at (254) 298-5500.
