Temple police seized over $75,000 worth of drugs, cash, and weapons from two homes in southeast Temple as SWAT teams executed warrants on Halloween.

Temple PD Public Information Officer Shawana Neely reports that the first warrant was served in the 2700 block of South MLK, where police took Antonio Gardner into custody.

During their search of the property, officers found approximately two grams of methamphetamine, five ounces of marijuana, over 500 ecstasy pills, and over 40 Xanax pills. Officers also located a Glock 42 handgun and about $3,000 in cash.

The total street value of narcotics removed from the residence was approximately $17,000.

During their search of the residence on Warwicke, officers arrested Damion Montgomery.

Officers found approximately 180 grams of powder cocaine, 262 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 21 grams of black tar heroin, other doses of heroin, ecstasy pills, and what they described as a "large amount" of marijuana. Officers also found an AK Pistol, a Smith and Wesson 9mm Handgun, a Glock 23 Handgun, a Kahr 380 Handgun, and a Taurus 38 Special, as well as ammunition.

The total street value of narcotics removed from the residence was approximately $55,600.
