Texas State Fair Fried Food Finalists Will Clog Your Online Arteries

It's almost time for the Central Texas State Fair so you know what that means - the best food ever. The finalists have been named for the 2016 Big Tex Choice Awards, or, the Fried Food Awards.

The most shocking, if there can be anything shocking anymore with what you can deep fry, is the Fried Jell-O. Not that I'm suggesting this, but, you could make these more shocking if you laced it with "Disco Biscuits" (Hey, Hey, Hey).

The other deep fried monsters include Caribbean Pineapple Korn-a-Copia, Deep Fried Bacon Burger Dog Slider on a Stick,  Deep Fried Pulled Pork “FUNYUN” Dings,  Fernie’s Down Home Chicken Pot Pie Pocket with Mac ‘n Cheese Dip, Injectable Great Balls of BBQ, Southern Fried Chicken & Dumplins,  State Fair Cookie Fries. Just so you know, your heart has clogged 38% just by reading these names.

The winners will be announced, with all the hoopla, on August 28.
