The Hub in Downtown Temple Celebrates its First Christmas Season

Temple residents caught a glimpse of what downtown used to be like, and will hopefully be again, with the opening of the Hub.

KWTX is reporting that the Hub saw a steady stream of shoppers since the doors opened on December 1st.

Lifetime resident Charlotte Ramm said that downtown Temple used to be the place to shop, eat, and hang out with your friends.

The Hub has two floors with 40 different vendors. They include local artists, an ice cream shop, and boutique shops.

It seems that a resurgence of downtown Temple could've been waiting for a little thing called social media. The Hub Manager Krista Weed said word of mouth and social media helped bring a steady stream of customers during the Christmas shopping season.
