The Taste of Central Texas Helps Abused and Homeless Kids
The Taste of Central Texas is back for the 14th straight year because you love it so much. It is a delicious way to help out Central Texas Youth Services and sample food from local restaurants. Let me explain how it works.
The restaurants bring their wares to the Bell County Expo Center, March 24. All kinds of cuisine will be there for the tasting. From appetizers to entrees to dessert, taste as much as you want. I always start with dessert!
Tickets are 30 dollars per person, 12 and under, 20 dollars, with the money going to help abused and homeless kids right here in Central Texas.
CENTRAL TEXAS YOUTH SERVICES provides emergency shelter, transitional living, independent living, maternity group home, street outreach for runaway/homeless children & youth, information and referral services at no cost to eligible children and youth.
Keith Wallace Director of CTYS told us all about the organization and The Taste of Central Texas.
Keith's Band, The GTO's will perform classic hits and you can hit the dance floor if you like.
