Toddler Injured in Hit & Run in Waco

Hit & Run at Richland Mall in Waco.

According to KWTX News, a toddler was struck Thursday in the parking lot of the Richland Mall in Waco. It happened just before 7 p.m. outside of the entrance to the food court.

Authorities say the driver stopped, got out for a moment, then jumped back into a Silver SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer, and then drove off leaving the scene of the accident.

It's being reported that the 2-year-old suffered a broken leg and facial scrapes.
