Trial Begins for Soldier Accused of Murder

Jury selection was scheduled to begin today in the trial of former soldier Michael Fitzgerald Reese, who is accused of killing another soldier, Justin Sheldon Richardson.

Reese was indicted in May 2011 in connection with Richardson's death on April 2, 2011.

The two men were seen arguing in a parking lot outside of a Denny's restaurant on S. Ft. Hood St. Richardson was found dead in the parking lot around 3 a.m. when police responded to a call reporting gunshots.
