KWTX reported that Tuesday's storms that came through the Central Texas area may be at fault for a death that occurred on Tuesday morning.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that the accident took place around 7:37 a.m. on Tuesday, and occurred on U.S. Highway 84 around two miles west of McGregor.

Authorities reported that a 2016 Chevrolet Camero was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 84, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and ended up on the eastbound direction of the highway.

The Camero ended up coliding with a 2009 Ford Mustang, and the  Department of Public Safety reported that the driver of the Camero died at the scene.

The Department of Public Safety said that the driver of the camero was  Shelby Swinnea, 18. Tina Zimmerman, 52, of Gatesville was the driver of the Mustang on U.S. Highway 84. She was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center with injuriies that left her incapcitated.
