Turn Back! I-35 North of Temple is Flooded

Motorists traveling along I-35 north of Temple will need to find alternate routes today as heavy rain has caused flooding on the Interstate in both directions.

Officials are requesting motorists find alternate routes today as high water has flooded both the North and Southbound lanes of I-35 at mile marker 306. This is in the area of FM 1237 and Pendleton Road north of Temple.

A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for the county until 12:30pm today as rain continues to fall along and to the east of I-35.
