Two people were arrested in Killeen after a detective performing surveillance witnessed a cocaine drug deal.

The detective witnessed the drug purchase in a parking lot near the 3800 block of East Stan Schlueter Loop. According to police, 41-year-old Glorimar Santiago approached a truck parked in the lot and got inside. She handed the driver - later identified as 37-year-old Robert Earl Fullilove Jr. – money, after which he handed her a plastic bag.

The detective, believing he’d witnessed a drug deal, approached the vehicle. Fullilove gave chase briefly before being apprehended and found to be in possession of cocaine. Another detective detained Santiago, who police say hid the drugs she’d purchased in her mouth.

Fullilove has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, 1 gram or more but less than 4 grams. Santiago was charged with possession of cocaine, less than one gram. The two were arraigned: Fullilove at $30,000 bond and Santiago at $20,000.
